As with many coffees from smallholder farms, this coffee is named after the Wet Mill it is processed at, Nebilyer, which was founded in 2015. Most of the farms on are on 5 hectares or less, growing the much-appreciated varietals Bourbon Caturra, Typica, and in this case, Mundo Novo.
The coffee is delivered in its cherry form, and is sorted and depulped at the mill before being fermented for 36 hours underwater. The seeds are then washed clean three times before being brought to the drying fields, where they will dry for 6–7 days, weather permitting.
