Price is for 1 ounce loose leaf tea.

A special Japanese style green tea blended with toasted rice. The tea itself lends a vegetal flavor while the rice imparts a warm toasted grain quality creating a savory, brothy cup with a hint of sweetness. We think it is best served warm, without milk or sugar and steeped a shorter time to prevent it from becoming too tannic.   1 heaping tsp. per 8oz water 170°F, 3-7 minutes.
